Alfred Knopf to publish new Thomas Sanchez novel about environmental rage and redemptive struggle -- a riveting drama of a mysterious voodoo assassin who upturns the lives of a crusading pirate radio shock jock and an enigmatic female cop who holds the ultimate key to startling truth.
Sanchez is writing and directing a feature length documentary about the life of Jack Garfein, survivor of eleven concentration camps, Actors Studio legend who worked alongside Marlon Brando, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and is an iconic figure as a maverick theater and film director who stood against racial and sexual bigotry. Filming will take place in Holocaust camps where Garfein once was incarcerated in Poland and Germany as well as in Paris, New York, Monument Valley Arizona, Hollywood and Telluride Colorado.
